Welcome
We're glad you are visiting us!
As a young girl I can remember my father owning a Nubian Goat. He purchased her freshened and I loved milking her and tending to her. Her milk was wonderful, especially for ice cream (we thought) and I can remember father giving her milk to several people who had family members that were sick, some with cancer. They were able to tolerate the goat milk and found nourishment from it.
All my adult life I have wanted to have a small farm and several head of dairy goats. Well, finally late last year, my hopes came true and we purchased a small 7.5 acre hill farm, built a barn and purchased our first pair of Nubian goats. Shortly after that, we got a trio of Nigerian Dwarf goats and another trio of black/white spotted Nubians. This Spring we purchased two more ND doelings from our veterinarian, Dr. LaNita Flanary at Flanary Keepsake Farm. We are also retaining our doelings and a Nigerian Dwarf buckling.
